Steve Morics - LEAR

 

Steve is currently Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science here at Redlands. He has occasionally participated in projects in Theater and in the School of Music (as a trumpet player). He is extremely appreciative of the opportunities he has been given to work with a wide range of students, bringing mathematics majors into the theater, and bringing mathematics to the theater students...whether they want him to or not.

Maia Gelser - REGAIN

​

Maia Gelser as Regain and part of the band playing violin, bass, (and possibly mandolin).  I’m a double major in Theater Arts and Sociology/Anthropology from Corvallis, Oregon and I just finished my 3rd year at UofR.  One of my favorite parts of this show is getting to play with the band and other musicians, as I have not gotten to do that since high school.

Kayleigh Stelling - GONERA

Kayleigh Stelling plays Gonera as well as the saxophone for this production. She has previously done acting, stage management, and lighting design here at the university. WATKOL is Kayleigh's final project as a student here at the University of Redlands, as she is part of our most recent graduating class.

Michael James - DR. VICTUS RECTOR

​

Michael James (Dr. Victus Rector) is pleased to be finishing out his third year of his time at Redlands by acting in a wonderful piece and traveling overseas for the first time. He can typically be found within the theatre shop repairing or constructing various set and prop pieces.

Lillian Abild - ROOTS

​

Lillian Abild (she/her) is a freshman, a Creative Writing major, and is making her U of R theatre debut as Roots. Hailing from Iowa, Lillian is excited to get back into the world of theatre as a part of We are the Kingdum of Lear. She has been a member of the costume shop in the theatre building, helping on productions such as The Thanksgiving Play, Native Gardens, and Georgia McBride. She is so excited to take on the journey to Edinburgh and hopes you enjoy the show.

Nicole Stidham - WATER

Nicole (she/her/hers) is a freshman at the University of Redlands and will be playing water in this production. This is Nicole’s first production with the University of Redlands and is super excited to take this show to Edinburgh. She is from Ventura, California and has been singing, acting, and dancing for several years. Nicole thanks you for coming and hopes you enjoy the show.

Eden Scrafford -  THE FOOL

Eden Scrafford is a rising Junior at the University of Redlands studying the “Elements of Dramatic Storytelling”. This will be her 18th theatre performance. In this show she will be playing the role of “Fool” and hopes to make you smile, laugh, and question your existence.

August Jolly - THERMAL

​

August (they/them) is a recent graduating student of the U of R who majored in English Lit and minored in Theatre Arts. WE are the Kingdum of Lear is their third show at Redlands and they have enjoyed playing the role of Thermal. They are looking forward to participating in more shows in post-graduation life and hoping to keep working within the realms of theatre and literature.

Morgan Irwin - HUMAN HOVEL HEAD / BAND

Morgan Irwin is a rising junior pursuing a creative writing major and a theater minor. The only other performance she has participated in so far was conducted online. She’s excited to play keyboard in and go overseas for her very first in-person production.

Thomas Mathews - EDMUND

At Redlands, I've played Harry in The Understudy, Eddie in The Legend of Georgia McBride, and multiple roles in Almost, Maine.

Graduated with a Bachelor's in Theater Arts last semester from University of Redlands.

Perla Barajas - CORDELLA

Perla Barajas is a sophomore here at Redlands. This will be her 4th show that she’s participated in the theatre department. She wants to thank you for coming and supporting our trip to the Fringe Festival!

Mason Hunt - STONE

​

Hey! My name is Mason Hunt and I play the role of Stone. I’m currently a Theatre Major and an Environmental Studies Minor. I've been in 10 productions of various sizes and scales. Notably, I was Mr. Kholenkov in You Can't Take It With You, I played seven characters in The Laramie Project, Lurch in The Addams Family Musical, and Sherlock Holmes in Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery.

Nikki Katz - PEBBELS / HUMAN HOVEL HEAD

 

Nikki Katz is from Irvine, CA and is excited to portray the role of pebbles in this production. She has worked on the Legend of Georgia McBride, The Thanksgiving Play, and the Spring Play Festival.

Hello, my name is Raft Leonardo Codrington and I am a senior at the U of R. I am a Johnston Student where I get to create my own major and I am currently studying psychology, philosophy, art, sociology, and English. I have been in theatrical art throughout my school career and want to continue pursuing a career in acting and helping people.

Beatrice Turner - AIRE

Hi, I’m Beatrice Turner (she/her), I’m a second year Johnston student with a working emphasis in Media and Communications with a focus in Art, Environment, Politics, and Psychology (a mouthful, I know). I’ve written, performed, and directed in productions outside of the University. This is my first production at the University of Redlands and am excited to hopefully perform in more in the future!
