JAMES JOHNSTON (He/Him/His)
Director of Comedic Timing
Senior Theatre Business Major
James is incredibly excited for you to see his final production at the University of Redlands. James most recently studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, LAMDA, learning and expanding his knowledge of classical acting, and making connections with multiple people in the international theatre community. For future endeavors after graduation, James is hoping to hop into the professional theatre space, be it here or abroad, and is going to use all of the skills he gathered here at Redlands and in London, to continue theatre as his profession. He hopes you enjoy Comedic Timing!
THOMAS JOHNSTON (He/Him/His)
ROLE: Clown
Senior Theatre Business Major
He is very excited to share with you this amazing curated piece of theatre. He has been at the university for the past four years, where he studied everything from acting and directing, to stage management and lighting design. Last semester, Thomas had the opportunity to study abroad at the London Academy of the Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA), where he honed his skills in classical acting and made connections in the theatrical world he hopes to pursue after graduation. He is delighted to conclude his senior year with this capstone project studying the role of the clown in the history of comedy. Thomas plans on jumping directly into the professional acting pool while utilizing the skills, techniques, and methods he acquired during his time abroad and here at Redlands. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Delaney Lust (she/her)
ROLE: Miss Prism, A Clown, Dorine
Double major in English Literature and Theater Arts
Most recently you may have seen her as Alicia in the department’s production of Larissa Fasthorse’s The Thanksgiving Play or as Hope / Sandrine in their online production of Almost, Maine. She hopes you enjoy the show
Lauren Witte (she/her)
ROLE: Cleante, Lady Bracknell
Junior Double Major English Literature and Theatre Arts
Lauren has just returned from her semester abroad in London, where she received a diploma in classical acting
at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her most recent performance at the University of Redlands was Logan in The Thanksgiving Play by Larissa FastHorse. She hopes you enjoy the show
Mason Hunt (He/Him)
ROLE: Oscar and Algernon
Major in Theatre Arts & Minor in Environmental Studies, Class of 2024
Roles he has played in the past are Lurch from the Addams’s Family Musical, seven different characters from The Laramie Project, Sherlock Holmes from Baskerville, and Boris Kholenkov from You Can’t Take It With You. He hopes you enjoy this production!
Nikki Katz (She/Her)
Assistant Stage Manager
Johnston Prospect
Nikki Katz is excited to have been the assistant stage manager for this production. She has worked on the Legend of Georgia McBride and The Thanksgiving Play.
